yay buttercup!!! i'm soooo glad she's getting better, well is better. i think next time, you should wait and try every possible avenue before you cull her, for this just goes to show you, she can always pull through. can we have some pictures of this cutie??

oh, and you can ALWAYS come on here and tell us everything, don't feel the need to hold back. if people don't want to hear about it, they can just not read it!!

for you and buttercup....

This is very true. This is the second time she has got ill like this, so I won't be hasty next time.

The reason I thought I was going to have to cull her was because her breathing was so laboured, and she kind have clicked when she breathed (mouth open too) Obviously the obstruction was putting pressure on her lungs. I just didn't want her to be in pain YKWIM?

But yes next time unless she is in pain I'll just have to be pro-active, but with a wait and see attitude

You can just post asking for good vibes for Buttercup, and we'll know what it means. Then you can have pro-offered shoulders who won't expect anything from you and don't need any explanation.

Perhaps try a preventative olive oil dose monthly or something. She may just need that little something extra.

I'm so happy she's still with you for now, and I hope it's a permanent fix!

This is a really good idea, thanks!!! I'm going to do that, give her a dose once a month and hope it keeps her flushed
