Not Drinking from Poultry Nipples

So I gave my chicks a nipple water system three bottles with a nipple on them a piece. I placed them at various heights and have even tried putting peanut butter on the nipple but they show no interest. My regular water pan (mason jar with base) broke and I would like for them to use the nipples but this morning the water pan I put in was empty and the went crazy when I filled it up.

Any suggestions to help them use the nipples. I have also tried holding a few of them up to the nipple and pushing their beaks against them but to no avail.

Take away any other means of drinking and wait. The nipples that I have seen are usually red. Chickens seem to be attracted to this color. Once one chicken discovers how the nipples work, the others will be doing the same quickly.

The chickens will still prefer to drink from a pan or puddle over a nipple. I think that it is their nature.
