Not drinking water???!!!

I just picked up my babies a few hours ago and none will touch the water but they ate....
normal? not?

i would try again...sleeping or not. They r babies. They will go right back to sleep after u get them riled up! LOL It's very important for the water. U might try putting some electrolytes or sugar in it to give them a little boost.

Thanks for all the help! Most are starting to drink after I changed the light bulb from red to regular

So weird... but the rest will probably see the others drink and catch on

Maybe they couldn't see the water under red light?

They will learn where the water is and will learn to drink it by watching. Remember, there is no way their natural mom could dip their little beaks in the water,
but they see her drinking and try it themselves. I believe that when they see you dip another chicks beak that they want to try it too.

Sorry, but I don't think changing the light color has anything to do with it!
