Not eggbound! what could it be?

A friend of mine and I checked and the bulge on her hind end is not because she is eggbound. What else could it be? She is very "bloated" in her hind end and very heavy! She is warm inside and out.

Probably internal layer is the most likely, if she is 2 or 3 years old or more, especially if she is a hatchery bird. Could be some other sort of infection, though.
