I have a clutch of 5 that are refusing to fledge. This is the hens first clutch and she's taking very good care of them. The oldest one turned 5 weeks on Wednesday and the second oldest today. She still feeds them so this isn't a dire situation. They do poke there heads out of the box but never come out (they may have come out when I wasn't around but I don't think that's the case)

Any one have any thoughts on this? Should I be concerned ?

as long as they are being fed and have an exit in which to leave when they are ready i wouldnt worry about them to much some fledge later then others good luck :) im guessing some species of parrot?

Don't worry they would fledge in their own time. As long as the parents are feeding them and haven't abandoned or is neglecting them just let them be and eventually they would get out. Their probably just not ready. Sometimes even when they have all their feathers it still might take them a while to leave because they might still be a little weak and can not stand properly on a perch. Don't worry though they would get out and soon you'll have them flying everywhere.
