A little while ago I posted a thread about how there was a couple fox cubs growing up across our road and now our neighbours are chasing them out of their yards but they said that they look like baby coyotes. So I'm afraid that our yard might be the next stop for these little guys so is there any ways to shoo them off?

I would think it best to be sure you're not offering dinner to them. No pet food left out. No chickens they can get to. Then they will likely move on. I have a dog, Pyrenees mix, that keeps predators discouraged.

If you had coyotes living across the road you'd here them at night. They are pack animals and provide you with blood curdling screams at night after a successful kill to alert the rest of the pack. They are constantly moving to find enough food. The pack around here comes by the house every few months. No big deal.

As you and neighbor only see two wee sized canines I'd suspect fox not coyote. Fox are not pack animals and only stay with mother for relatively short time. Eventually they will move on, not as quick movement as pack of coyote.
