Not getting feathers

This chick has bald spots on it. Is it normal for them to take so long to feather out?

Also rooster or hen?

That's normal. What are you feeding? They need a good fresh chick starter to grow those feathers. Rapidly growing chicks can outgrow their feathers before the next set comes in.
