NOT going up to their roost....

This is a picture of our coop. Our two girls go up to their roost like clockwork at the start of it getting dark EVERY night. Tonight they did NOT?? It was almost 9:00, dark and they were sort of huddled in one corner of the coop?? We looked in the roost and there was NOTHING in there?? What could cause them to behave this way? Also, this coop is INSIDE our screened porch, which ALSO has two foot concrete walls all around it, so they're VERY secure in this coop. I just find it SO odd cause they are SO perfect and have the BEST timing!! Honestly they're just like "role model" chickens!! Hahaha I mean they've done EVERYTHING by the book!! Layed eggs at 5 months (the Barred Rock.. EE still not laying.. but she's squatting!!), she lays them IN the nest.. always.. NO eggs in any weird places, etc etc.. I mean they've just done everything so perfect, INCLUDING going to bed just before dusk!!?? Any ideas??

Hmmmmm.

I have seen my chickens change their sleeping habits occasionally, but both huddled in a corner. Could something have frightened them somehow? A noise?

Or, are they just changing their habits because they decided to? Are they otherwise OK?

Yes they were eating and drinking up to the very time they went up finally..and they came out and ran around the porch when I went outside to see what the problem was. I let them out and they were walking and running around like if it was noon?? NOTHING any different at all other than them not going up at dusk as usual??
