Not hatched on day 22

Hi all,

I am now on day 22 and i have still got 12 eggs out of 17 that have still not pipped. How long ahould i wait before deciding they have not made it? I have got 4 healthy chicks that have hatched so far and are doing really well.

I'd give them a candling to check for signs of life. I've had chicks take upto 25 days to hatch.

Definitely candle them to see where you are at. I had a hatch last week that I only got 12 out of 24.

What are your tempatures and are you sure of them? If they are a little low, the incubation with be a bit longer. Day one of incubation is the day after you set.

What are your tempatures and are you sure of them? If they are a little low, the incubation with be a bit longer. Day one of incubation is the day after you set.

Temp has been a steady 37.5 to 37.6 and the timer started at 0 and counted to 1 the day after. All were candled at day 7 and 18, the original batch was 24 but 7 have been removed from the results of the candling.

Temp a steady 37.5 to 37.6 and humidity has been around 70% since day 18

Pump heat even up 2 leave humidity alone bring the heat up a bit
