Two Leghorns, and one Rhode Island Red.

I *went* for cold hardy egg laying machines.

Rhode Island Reds are definitely cold hardy. Leghorns are egg laying machines, but not so cold hardy. I would suggest at least putting some vaseline on your Leghorns' combs during freezing days this winter as their combs are real susceptible to frostbite. Good luck in getting those eggs.
