Not Laying In the Nesting Box

My 6 month old silkie is laying, but more often than not, her eggs are found in the corner of our run outside rather than in the nesting box. Is it ok that she is doing this? How can I get her to lay in the box? Thanks!

Put 2-3 of her eggs in the nest box and show her. Make it look tempting by shaping the nest to look cozy. I know that sounds crazy, but when I make over a nest in a certain box, my girls will leave their nest to go to the nest I made over - maybe because roosters will often do that??? Leave those 2-3 eggs in her box and show her several days straight...
