In my second run I have white leghorns that didn't have nest in the coop when they started laying 3 weeks ago. We got milk cartons in the coop within two days but they are still laying on the floor on the coop. what can I do?

Try adding fake eggs, golf/pingpong balls to the nests. Good luck

Maybe some golf balls or plastic eggs in the nest to show them where THEIR eggs are supposed to go. It seemed to work for our Buff Orpington. She's laid her first 3 eggs these past 3 days along side the fake ones.

We have fake white gulf balls already in place but no go. they have been there for about a week now

It'll take some time....once one gets the hang of the nest boxes, they will all soon follow. My girls didn't believe the golf balls were eggs...so I ended up buying wooden eggs at the craft store. Within a few days, they were using the egg boxes!
