Not laying

So, I bedded the hens' area with Cypress Pine. They stopped laying, so I took that out and lined it with straw. Still no eggs. Four Golden Comets were laying 6/day. I just want to give my girls what they need. What can I do?

How old are they?

A year old approxiamately. They were laying fine until the mulch.

Give them a few days with the mulch. It takes time for hens to get use to new things.
