Not like the others!

I got my chicks from a local guy who told me that they were all Rhode Island Reds, this one looks totally different and I may be new at this but I don't think this is a RI Red. Can anyone help me out?

Definitely not like any RIR I've seen. Can you post a pic from the side, showing the comb type, too?

Maybe we can figure out what it is!

Do you know what other breeds the seller keeps?

i am very much a newbie LOL. I will take a better picture in the am and post tomorrow. He had oodles of chickens and all the chicks were together in large plastic containers. i could call him but he is older and I don't think he will rem. me

This site shows what RIR's should look like. That black one is not a RI Red. I'm not sure what it is.

Maybe as it get bigger, it will be easier to tell. It was and still is a lot smaller than the others, its feet are different too. We've been calling it "bacon" cause it goes so well with the others.
