Hey guys. As you all may know, I am not new. I’ve been on officially since March, but lurking since 2018 ish.
So my name is Annabelle. I grew up with two divorced parents, one living in the midst of the city, and the other owning a small farm in a rural area. I have been around chickens since before I can remember, but after I moved to college I didn’t see them anymore.
I am currently 28 and live by myself in a small, suburban-rural neighborhood on the outskirts of the city. I am a city person at heart.
I just got my own flock during quarantine because I was bored and thought now is as good a time as ever. So now it’s been about 4 months since I got my current chicks ( it’s felt like only a few days though). I have 1 EE cockerel, 3 EE pullets, and 1 BO pullet. I am getting 3 silkie pullets soon though, and I will add them to my family.
I also have a dog, and some ghost cats that passed away awhile back.
So yeah. I’m not new, as you may have figured out by the fact I’ve been on here for awhile now, but I never introduced myself properly.
And, just so you all know, my plans here on BYC are to:
1. Become the ruler of this realm
2. Change everything to bearded chickens
or
1. Go on here like a normal person
