I started my little hobby farm with only 8 RIR chicks early last February after a trip to a local flea market. Sounds crazy but we have been pondering giving it a name for some time as it is slowly growing. We now have about 40 chickens of various breeds, a pot bellied pig ( a christmas gift this year), a couple of rabbits, and 15 turkeys on the way. The last turkeys (2) were processed and consumed at Thanksgiving. Anyway tonight we came up with a name.....Rosebriar farm. Sort of fitting as i love to grow roses, I often pick them for my wife or to add to an arrangement of flowers and I have acres of briars. Just wanted to share the name with everyone.
