Hi
I live in a small town just north of Fort Worth Tx. I have had chickens of and on for the last 6 yrs. however a coyote or something came in and left us with just feathers inside and outside of the coop. Have to say that was my fault as I didn't go out that evening and shut them in.
We are now getting some baby Black Austrolops. And a new coup and run. I am anxious to soak in all of your excellent advice!!

Coops need to be built like Fort Knox. Even the tiniest of hole will let the predators in. Good luck with your new flock! If you have any questions along the way, be sure and ask us. Welcome to our community!
