Can anyone tell me if it is alright for chickens to eat guinea pig poop? I have two guinea pigs and was thinking of using their used bedding for compost but wasn't sure if the chickens would be fine around it.

I would guess they would eat any parasites in it rather than the poop itself. Lots of people let their chickens in the compost and others say it's not a good idea; I've never researched (or tried) it.

Rabbit poop is actually really good for chickens... and rabbits. They are coprophagic meaning they are in the habit of eating their own poo and it is important they do so.. Guinea pigs are coprophagic as well, so my guess is yes !!!

I've seen my friend's birds scratch and root around under her hutches but wasn't sure about the guinea pigs. guess I'll try today.
