i think she may acctually be nesting in the tree as everynight just before dark she sings on this one branch then disapears behind the ivy into the trunk

I don't have pictures but there are 3 young snakes that have hatched in my compost box. They poke their little heads out and watch me in the garden. They seem to actually recognize me because they bolt when my son walks up, no matter how quiet he is.

Aww, she's as cute as a button! I live in the country, woods surrounding my house, and for some reason, I hardly ever see any squirrels. I saw more when I was young and lived in the city. I fed a squirrel daily, and the little guy would come up and hang on the screen while we were having dinner and chatter at us like he was saying "Where are my treats?!"

They sure are cute. I guess they can really wreak havoc on your home if they get inside though! And I've seen pics of them actually unscrewing Christmas bulbs and taking them away to store as they would a nut! Too cute.

living in england they are everywhere loads of people call them pests as they kill our native red squirrels but it was our own stupid fault for introducing them so i love em anyway and there so clever

What an adorable squirrel! I have a real soft spot for them, as I had one as a kid. We have the fox squirrels, here, too. They are so gorgeous.

would love to see one

My special little buddies are the flock(?) of little Gambel's Quail that live on the property. They're very jittery but are getting better with me around in that they'll still run away but no longer fly away. I love their little cheepings and chirpings to each other. It's so cool to watch commute from place to place as they run one behind the other like they're on rails.

I think you are right. She might already have them. That will be fun when the babies start coming down for their share of the goodies.
I love squirrels, but we don't see many of them out in the country. They seem to prefer the city. Same thing with skunks.
