Not RIR and not Black Sexlink... ?

4H gave a family member a batch of Rhode Island Reds and Black Sex Links to raise. But there are two black and white ones that don't look like either!!

Here's how the actual Black Sexlinks look so far, for comparison...

Appreciate any insight!

Just looks like they carry silver instead of gold.
Why they do, idk.

Other than the obvious explanation: that is the way some hatchery is breeding them!

I super appreciate the info! I'm surprised, upon reflection, that 4H allows showing of a hybrid like a sex link anyway. Seems like the "standard" would not really exist in such a case... No idea which coloration would be correct!

In any case, I love these silver ones. Maybe I can make room in my backyard
