Not Spraddle Leg!!!!!!!!

my only chick is having trouble walking

its legs are weak and its feet are curved in. i wonder if it has spraddle leg

? *snif snif* its only 24 hours old

and it hobbles around every where. please help

Do a search on here for it - you can splint it, and it typically fixes itself in a few days (if it's spraddle). Not even close to the end of the world, friend!

It is fixable. I even fixed a meat chickens leg. With a little extra care when feeding and watering and splinting the leg you can fix it.

I had a chick with really curled toes last year. I had to make 'paddles' to tape his feet to and it fixed them afetr about a week. I think maybe they ust get cramped up in the egg or something.

another chick or three would boost its spirits too! Chicks are very social and would hate being lonely I'll bet
