OK~My Light Brahma started to act weird a couple days ago.

I noticed she was statying by the coop and around the pen when I let them out to free range. She seemed to be closing her eyes and not interested in eating or drinking. No eggs for 2 days prior-
I used DE, ACV in H20, and fed her some electrolytes-savachick. I gave her a warm bath to be sure her vent was clear and felt no egg stuck. She produced an egg the day after. While bathing I did notice feathers missing from her neck and what appeared to be a bruise. It also looked like her under eye area had been cut somehow. From the rooster would be my best guess? She started to drink a lot last night and this morning. I noticed her poop today and checked it, other than small it appeared normal. She came down into the grass with the others this morning, stopping to just sit with her eyes closed every now and then-she also pecked the ground a few times. I tried to search another thing I noticed her doing-every so often she kind of did a rump or butt shake, not the typical feather shake out thing. Just her back end doing a shivering shake for I'd say 15 seconds or so. Googling it is NOT recommended-the results are not what I was looking for at ALL! <bashful face>!
When she was at the waterer she would be territorial over it as well as whenever any hen or roo comes too close to her.
I would like any input if this is any normal behavior or not-any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I also checked for lice n mites-none. No nose discharge either.

Just got over a heat wave 3 days ago. About 90 degrees for for 3-4 days, with humidity.

She could be suffering from heat exhaustion/stroke. Can you bring her inside where it is cool? Keep her in a quiet, cool, darkened place where she can relax?

Offer her a mash made from chicken feed and yogurt. Mix the feed with water and add the yogurt. She will like this special treat. If you have any poly vi sol vitamins, I would give her .5mls per day for several days. Sometimes just cold, with ice, water is the best thing. Provide her with cold water. Electrolytes are good but, don't overdo.

The wounds are probably from the roo..keeping in mind that chickens will try and remove a sick one from the flock. It's natures way of protection from disease. I've learned the hard way that sickly chickens can and will be pecked to death.

She is definitely not broody. She would turn into a holy terror and refuse to leave the nest box if that were the case.

Thanks so much! Its seems shes shooing them from her at this point.
Would it harm or help if I gave her medicated feed with the yogurt??

Wouldn't harm her at all. Medicated feed just has Amprolium in it. It helps protect chicks from coccidiosis. How old is your chicken?

They get layer feed and free range. Every so often I get a forager cake, and they get scrap veggies we didn't eat.

Have you been watching them? Is she getting picked on? She may also have lost a fight with a dominant hen. Or been attacked by something and is healing. Heat stress is another good guess but none of the others appear to be, yes?
