I know lots if times EE is what you get when you purchase "Ameraucanas" but I'm not too sure about Bitsy being either. She is 15 weeks old today. Her legs are a dark slate/charcoal and her skin is white. However she has no beard or muff? Any ideas?

EE are any aracauna/ameracauna mix with another bird. Some of them are muffless, Also they will always have slate colored legs.

Here is an example of a muffless variety

Definitely Ee's great layers but are known as mutts. i have several and would not give them up for anything. never go broody and give pretty eggs. and lotd of eggs. get 10 out of 12 hens every day.

I figured EE pretty much all along, but never knew they could be without muff and/or beard.
Thanks for your input!
