Horrible luck with baby chicks the last 2 days :(...
So momma chick has 5 babies doing great 3 eggs in the middle of hatching 2 she stepped on during hatch 1 is out still attached to the shell 1 started bleeding and 2 have not externally piped yet but chirping..

I put some corn starch on the tiny egg that was bleeding and think I have that under control.. I have moved these to my incubator which was still at temp 99.5 but I was going to give it a good cleaning before setting more eggs so it had no water in at all..
I added water to the reservoirs but don't know if it's enough or to much :/.. I have one of the red caps off the other in.. I do not have anything to measure humidity...

What do I do???? It's a cheap little giant incubator....

The little one that was bleeding was not doing good at all.. I read on a thread where someone had a similiar incident took the shell off quickly and saved the baby chick so that is what I tried.. He is attached at the bottom but the bleeding of the inner shell lining has stopped and now all I can do is hope that it makes it!!!!
