Not Sure I Can Handle Having Roosters

Well, the only adult rooster i had was that D'Uccle. His mate squawked, but he was pretty quick about it and didn't overmate her.

The last silkie rooster i wanted to keep (Mr. Big Mouth) tried like crazy to get the hang of mating. i even let him out with my older hens. Most of them would compliantly squat down for him. But he would throw himself at them, flying across their backs, and end up arse over tea kettle on the other side. They eventually got ticked and let him know they had enough.

i sure would like to breed some silkies and showgirls.
