Not sure if hen is egg bound

I am new to BY Chickens and this morning my hen and rooster were making a lot of ruckus...I went outside and found 6 small eggs and my hen laying on them. So I picked her up and picked up the eggs. But I can't tell if she laid them today. She seems restless and is still pulsating. She laid another egg, and looks like she is building a nest. Should I be worried?

An egg bound hen will be puffed up, lethargic, and hold what almost looks like a penguin stance. She will clearly be unwell.

If she is bright-eyed, talkative, eating/drinking when offered, then I would lean more towards her being broody. A hen can only lay 1 egg a day, so it sounds like she's been building up her stash over the course of the week.

What happens if you block her from the nest? How does she behave?

Seems all is good now. She laid the last egg today and appears to be back to normal. Thank you for your assistance and guidance!!!
