I was administering medication to my chicken for a flare up of a chronic infectious coryza condition. She shook her head vigorously and a few drops of her runny snot went straight into my eye
Itās a day later and i have conjunctivis coming on, crusting and soreness and redness. For those who know the biomedical side of the disease, is this worth the expense and time of a doctors visit, or can i apply an OTC antiseptic eyedrop and see if it clears? Iām not sure if itād be the coryza microorganism causing this (supposedly not transmissible between species?) or just general chicken germs.
