My girl Lutzie a GLW may not have ever layed an egg. hatched 5/15. I can match the other eggs with all my layers each has a kind of unique look to their eggs. Dot's are long and skinnyish, Betsy's eggs are nearly round, Dopey's eggs are lightest in color and have a funny ridge on every egg, and Addidas's eggs are the darkest in color and medium in size. I can match up the daily eggs and figure who has layed which egg which day. Lutzie sits in the nest - has had very red comb and waddles. Breeds daily with the roo. She was injured as a chick and was in shock but came through. I have noticed recently her tail is not up and she lays around a lot. She had some diarrhea but that was a while ago, I gave her a couple of bubble baths when I thought maybe she was egg bound. No eggs, she eats well, other than the low tail thingy she seems fine. I do think something is remiss but I keep an eye on her. I was just wondering if I am missing something or should check anything on her.
Side note - She is skittish most of the time but she does enjoy the baths and blowdries. She is a sweet girl and after the dog attack when she was just two weeks old, I was just happy she survived and even if she is not a layer, I want her to be happy. I will try to post a picture of her when her tail is straight out.
