I know I've posted this question on another post similar to this one but I got two different replies say; it's a cockerel and another say they are pullets.

now a pic of their tail feathers:

The yellow one is a Giant Cochin and the black one is a regular Cochin and they are a month old.

Much too red in the comb, but the barring is 'dark'. It's most likely a Black Sexlink cockerel, not a Barred Rock.

Five week old speckled Sussex Easter egg cross? Boy or girl?

This is Spot, the white and black chick. All my chicks are about 3 months old or a little less.
Hen or rooster? The chicken to the left is Turq. He crows all the time so I know he's a roo.


This is Big Girl. But is she? Beginning to think she is a he. These two were beak to beak a few days ago with their neck feathers all standing out.

My Dotte, SLW 6 weeks old. Having a horrible feeling she might be a he... anyone have any ideas?

I'm leaning towards pullet but that is a pretty big comb, I would post again in a week or two to see how she/he develops.

I think you have a possible cockerel( the black one), but they are to young to say for sure. I would post again around 6 weeks.
