I have a hen not sure what age when I got her the lady said maybe 2 she no longer lays her feathers are turning grey and white she moves and acts tired a like a old lady I picked her up and she felt boney I felt her crop it didn't feel like feed was there it didn't hurt her she walks around normal and sunned herself today she ate some popcorn drank water like normal and ate feed I did notice when she went for the corn some water came out. I have cleaned her water out and gave vitamins yesterday her poop is watery. Is the lady just old or is more going on?

Pictures are always helpful. Chickens do molt once a year and lose feathers and then grow new ones. How long have you had her? She could have looked ratty due to being feather picked or overcrowding, too many roosters, or mites and lice. Look her skin over under her vent and belly and elsewhere for tiny bugs or eggs. She might have a crop problem. What are you feeding? The best thing for her is a balanced layer or flock raiser feed. Crops should feel empty in early morning before they eat or drink. Then they fill up with food during the day. Here is a good article about crop problems and how to treat them

What is this a picture of? 👇 Corn or something you found in her poop?

She looks like a Red Sex Link or production hen, so as she gets older, you may see different colors of feathers appear, this would be due to whatever parentage is in her, not necessarily anything to do with age.

I'd check that her crop is emptying overnight. Look her over for lice/mites and if possible, take a sample of poop to your vet to see if she needs deworming.

She's eating/drinking and relatively active, so she may not have much wrong going on at the moment.
