Not sure of breed or age

hello I was told that this little one was 2 weeks on July 5th and a buff Orpington/Conchin mix. Am I going crazy because this little one does not look buff at all or is it too early to tell?

could it have been a different color than Buff Orpington? He's looking like he may be striking.

A lot of younger chickens will not look like the full grown version of that type or it could just be a different color

Yes it is in the wings... everyone is saying he.... I thought it was too early to tell.

See that really red comb? At this age that’s one of the signs of a cockerel.

It's the comb You can't sex them all that young, but you can pick out for sure cockerels.
