This former owner of this girl said she is a Silkie, but she is nearly twice the size of my other Silkie and Showgirl hens. She's more the height and weight of my larger cockerels. I found a few photos online that resemble her, but they didn't state the breed. I was thinking she was in the Bantam Cochin family, but she's bigger than the ones I have. She loves to have her throat petted and is very broody with the younger chickens. She also has only a little feathering on her feet/legs. Any thoughts on which breeds since I'm being told she's mixed.
