Not sure of breed....

I'm hoping someone can help with this one. I got these from a BYC member, so I know all the breeds of chickens I have, except for this one. I suppose I could just ask the person I got them from, but what would be the excitement in that, or the challenge?!

This chick hatched from a light brown egg. It was the only light brown egg I had in that particular incubator. Age is 4 weeks when I took these pictures. 4 week old chicks are squirmy..... especially when they think they're gonna get mealworms when you open the coop door.

I'd like to know what "she" might be. At the end of the day it won't matter, as long as "she" is a she!

Some kinda of golden laced? maybe a orp and I would say a Roo

Golden laced something.. And it is a cockerel. I would say Wyandotte, but he has a single comb. And I'd say Brahma, but he's clean legged. So, beats me..

Could be a gold laced orpington...but it has white feathers on the chest right?

Orpingtons legs are white.

Not all orpingtons. But they dont have yellow legs that i know of.. So maybe a wyandotte? But the comb looks to big.

I'm not sure what it is either, obviously... why I started the thread. I was thinking Wyandotte, but I'm no way an expert. It will be interesting to see what it turns out to be. Little Chick sure is friendly. One of the first ones that runs up to me hoping to get a treat.

Sure do hope its a pullet tho.

Wyandottes have Rose combs.
