Not sure what happened...

Could she have eaten something poisonous? Do you use rat poison on the property, or other chemicals? Fertilizers can also cointain toxic metals. Here is a list of poisonous plants :

Hopefully it's something simpler and will resolve quickly. Good luck!

I was a Vet Tech (didn't work with poultry though...) so no plants in their yard that are toxic, no chemicals are used in my yard or my house. I try to do everything green and non-toxic.

UPDATE***
She is doing so much better. She loves the yogurt and her feed, she has eaten 1/2 a container of yogurt since yesterday am. She is also eating other treats and drycrumble. Shes not drinking as much as I would like but I figure with the yogurt she is getting some fluid. She still is not able to hold her own weight, she cant sit on stand up on her own yet, so we have been propping her up so she is sternal and not on her side. She is starting to use those legs, mostly to kick me...LOL...She definately has the fighting spirit. Her poop looks very normal (in fact, she layed an egg yesterday).

We are just keeping her quiet and I try not to bug her too much. She may decide she likes being inside with us more than outside...LOL!!!

She wont drink the water I added the supplement to, Do you give that straight or dilute it with water?

I would allow her to pick and chose what she wants to eat and drink right now. If you are using poly vi sol, you can mix it with her yogurt.

Hey there. So shes starting to get her strength back but still can't walk. She flat out refuses to eat anything with the poly vi sol in it so I have stopped trying. Shes eating well but yesterday she started having mucous, runny poops and she really stinks. I'm going to try to bathe her but I am worried about this new development and I don't want her to get dehydrated or worse off. Any advice?

Is she trying to stand and overall doing better? OR just zero movement on legs?

You can drop the vitamins straight on her beak to get her to swallow them.

as for poop - would you be able to see if she has worms/cocci whatever if you plop them under a microscope? Maybe you have an advantage there, being a vet tech! Or you could get the vet to test it, i am sure!

I had the poop tested for my 8 week old chick that couldn't walk and had no other symptoms, and in my case it turned out to be cocci, fully back to normal after 5 days on corid.

When this first happened she was very overall weak, as she has improved she still is having trouble with the left side but overall she can move her legs and wings just doesn't have the strength to stand on her own. I cleaned her up this morning and it doesn't appear mucousy like I thought, just looks like diarrhea and because she can't stand up she just rolls in it overnight. So overall really gross...

We are leaving town today (have a friend coming to chicken sit for me) but when I get back I will take a sample to my vet.
