Hi! I'm new to taking care of chickens but my fiance has a white Bantam Cochin. She wasn't able to walk well for a few days and resembled a webble wobble when she tried. So we put her in a box in the basement away from the other chickens. We also noticed that her left eye was not opened as wide as her right eye. She can walk now but occassionally seems to stumble backwards and gets disoriented. She seems to be eating and drinking ok. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas what could have cause the problem. We even tried to but her out in put her out in the yard with another hen (for some company) but the hen tried to attack her. Not sure why that is either. But if anyone can shed some light on my situation I would be very appreciative. Thanks!
