Not sure where to put this, braided rug

I have a braided rug, it was my MIL DH said to get rid of it but I can't. It needs to be cleaned and I tried to put it on the cloths line but it broke the post so DH is a little upset. Its about 8x10 in size. Any help on how to clean it? Thanks

there's a fire/water co. that cleans my mom's rugs....I know, probably not the most econimical but....

I think they put it in a bag with soaps? and then vacuum all the water and stuff out and then dry it.

My grandma runs a carpet washer over her's. Her carpet washer has an extention and she uses it. You could rent a carpet washer if you dont have one already.

Thanks, I do have a carpet washer I'll try that after I get done sewing it up. Everytime my dog had an itch he would pull it apart. LOL That's another reason he wants to get rid of it. But every day I get down on my knees and sew a little. It's a little hard to get back off the floor, auther is in my knees.
