Hi. I'm Stacey and I'm from South Louisiana. I'm a home school mom to 4 wonderful kids. Well, I actually have one in college now, one headed to cosmetology school in the fall, and one in public school for the first time, so technically, I'm just a home school mom to 1 8th grader now!!
I've been a stay-at-home mom for about 19 years, but I recently started a part-time job managing a small golf course. It's fun and I can bring my son with me. My oldest dd works for me there and my next one wants to as soon as she turns 18.
I'm into healthy eating, raising animals, reading, cooking, gardening, traveling, golfing, volleyball, swimming, etc.
Hubby, the kids and I live on 5 acres in a rural area north of BR. We've been out here about 10 years and I've had chickens since the first spring. I've also raised dairy goats and am in the process of hunting for a milk doe (we're missing our milk). I'm trying my hand at meat birds for the first time this year. My chickens are generally my "pets" so this will be interesting.
