Most of my chickens are not the every day birds, some are rare, and some are mixes, but unusual mixes.
I have Cali, she is a California white/Ayam Cemani mix. I didn't create her, I bought her as an egg. She lays a light gray egg, has blue legs and a saggy purple comb.
She has 2 babies from a blue feathered blue egg gene EE so their babies will have more of a blue egg. below we have "Mauve" I call her that because her beak and legs are more of a purple pink.
Her brother "Comfort" is the white chicken, the below chickens all have the same EE dad. I like NN I have 6, (I thought I had 5 but when I counted...3 babies and 3 older ones)
Below is "Fancy Nancy" a frizzle NN, and a blue copper maran.
Below are Lavender Orpingtons, unusual, but not too unusual, the black ones are Cuckoo marans, Not too unusual, but were from a store fridge. (local eggs) and the white is a regular leghorn. (unusual for me to have a normal bird.)
Below is a spitzenhauben. "Regan Thropfen"
Below is a silver penciled rock "Assassin" (To be fair she doesn't try and kill me any longer, darn it!) She is tucking a leg...tan egg
below are my avatars babies one frizzle hen, one normal hen who's dad was a BCM they lay a dark gray egg.
Mel, and Nell.
