Nother Cream Legbar Question....

The first is a Gold Creole Legbar and not the best representative of the breed. In the second picture, I did not see a crest, but if there is a crest I would hazard a guess that it is a White Sport Legbar.

Unfortunately, to most people a cream legbar is what they call all three color variants.
Thanks for the information 👍... So the darker colored ones aren't necessarily Cockerels?

Ya I'm not seeing either that are technically crested CREAM legbars.
I'm still gonna add IF they are pure the second one is a what was called a white sport or now days a frost legbar.
It's just a legbar with two recessive white genes. Back in the day they happened and we culled them. Now they've became a thing.
The first one could be whatever they're calling a cream that doesn't have the cream gene.
They're also what was and IMO should still be a cull.

Now with the new pic both dark ones are pullets. Actually all do look like pullets.
The white ones show gold leakage. That happens with dominate white but not with recessive. Those birds have non legbar blood somewhere in their recent breeding.

Thanks for clearing that up! Don't need any roos in my flock...

From the faces I see here in this photo, they're all female. None of them are Cream Legbars though... a legbar cross, definitely. The brown one in the back looks larger than the others but it could just be the photo. It's the only one I'd be suspicious of.
