Notifications on comments for pictures

Hi

I only recently was going through my own album when I noticed a few comments on some of my pictures. I didn't get any notification of these and was wondering if there's something I have missed to 'check' a box somewhere? I felt rude as I hadn't responded to these comments. If it isn't a feature can it be, as in the subscribed threads notifications?

Would be handy for articles too, I have some and I have no idea if someone writes something on them either.

I believe this is an existing feature as I've received notifications on comments to my albums. I'm not sure about notifications on picture comments, but I'll look into it!

Just to clarify I am not talking about email notifications as I have turned that off.
