Ummm...I think I will try this but I do have a question? May I ask how and what is the best packing / package for sending eggs? I am all new to this...ok...I have NEVER sent eggs before. I am just unsure how to package eggs and would be so upset to find out someone received a big scrambled mess from me. Any suggestions, please?

I wrap my egg's in bubblewrap, and then I put shredded paper in the bottom of the box and on top of the eggs. So far that has worked for me. One of the small boxes from the PO will work for just 6 eggs. Seem people wrap there eggs in a napkin and then bubblewrap. Some people use bubble wrap in the bottom of the box to. So it really depends on the person, but bubblewrap is the key!!

So you wrap each egg individually and each is separate in the box or once each one is wrapped do you tape them together to make them more of a 1 piece unit, so to speak? Not trying to be dense, just want to make sure I am on the same page...

The ones I've received are always free floating in the "packing peanuts" in the box. Some use shredded paper, some packing peanuts and some use grocery bags or newspaper. I personally like the first two better than grocery bags but whatever floats your boat.

You are not dense at all. I wrap each egg individually and just put them in the box separate. I do know that some people wrap each egg and then wrap them all together again to make them more a 1 piece unit. The key is to have "no" movement in the box.

OK. I understand completely now Tiffany, thanks so much.

Just one last question, if I may? The category Other that you have for the swap, exactly what might be in that group? I know now I am going to email you to ask to be added to the swap, I am just trying to figure out which category I want to ask for.

Your welcome. The "other" category would be......quail eggs, turkey eggs, ect..... anything "other" than chicken or waterfowl.
