fyi - who ever is shipping to NY, the high next week is 37 with a low of 22. at least that is what the 10 day is on the weather channel site. so maybe you got excited and shipped them for a tomorrow delivery???? should be 57. anyway happy hatching. want to see pics. can be pics of the eggs set in the bator. just keep updating.....

Barnyard, you are doing a great job. Please look at suggestions as feedback, by spring this Swap will be flawless, I'm sure you have less and less "suggestions" each month. I think You are great to volunteer your time and effort for the sake of us. IMO you are boosting the fun and morale for BYC with these fun swaps.

My eggs went out today! My little hens were so helpful in spite of what happened last night.

I had my swapee's eggs all packed ready to go except to put more packing in on top and close the box. About 2:30 AM, we had an intruder come in and unpack the box. And take out the eggs, and ATE 4 of them.

I stay at my Gram's at night, she's 100 and has a hotel. The person came in on the elevator. We usually keep everything locked up tight. Good thing we have a surveilance camera that my Uncle put in. So we know who ATE them.

So I had to get 4 more eggs from my hens, I've been averaging 4 a day from the little ladies. Sometimes it takes all day to get them. But this morning, my sweet hens went right to the nest boxes and gave me 4 fresh eggs to replace the eaten ones.

Oh and yes, we did file a police report.
