When I lived there, I used to remember the tv commercials about 'beautiful sunny Florida'. I would think 'beautiful sunny my foot!!' Most of the time it was either raining or to hot to do anything, what's so beautiful about that?

I was in Jacksonville for a week in May and it was beautiful there while we had a TON of rain here and it was still cold. I'd gladly move south if I could! I absolutely HATE the cold and the snow.

I lived just south of Tampa for 5 years. There were times that it was nice, but it went from a little too cool to being way to hot really fast! It is different for someone living there. Some friends of mine came to visit when I lived there in like March one time. They were walking around in shorts and tank tops or t-shirts, and I was wearing leans and a hoodie at least!

I lived in Tampa for 20 years.. hated it! I now live just south of Jacksonville and love it. Much better change of seasons here. Also better to raise chickens in the countryside than big city.

I was absolutely amazed when I went to JAX - Probably just the area I was in (for work) but there were roosters walking all over! The office even set out a pie plate of feed for one of them every couple days. We don't see that here but I thought it was cool!! We tend to hide our chickens even though it's allowed. My neighbor thinks I'm a freak but does hand egg cartons over the fence!

Not only were none broken I don't believe they moved!!! You had those babies packed very well!!!! I cant wait to see the fuzzy lil butts. These next 21 days are gonna crawl...
