May I suggest to whomever I might be sending eggs to, contact your local Post Office and perhaps have them hold them at the Post Office for you. The eggs will be coming from Roanoke, IL 61561. I will collect Saturday, but since PO is only open here 9M to 10am on Saturday, I am hoping and praying my girls will have 6-8 eggs before then. If my girls do not put out enough, I will have to collect Sunday as well; that means a Monday 11-24 ship date.

This is so much fun! So glad that my eggs got there safe and sound! I hope they all hatch.

They caught they guy who ate the eggs. He broke into the bar downstairs.

shipping to new york.... can you tell me if they should be here today. i will wait as long as i can before i go back to work. the mailman usually is here before i go and i don't want to leave them in the box. it is 26 out right now.
i have seen pics of chickens in the snow. (we have three inches left from the other day) this is the first day i was able to come home between runs and thought i would let the chickens out. stupid me thought they would be knocking each other over to get out. WRONG. it looks like the door is too small, they are all just standing there looking out like the all got stuck. it is quite a sight.
