i got 8 very pretty eggs from stamping ground KY today.. they arrived unscathed, but hte air cells are wierd.. they're settling in now before going into the bator tomorrow night.. maybe friday morning...

we're fighting about wether they are duck eggs, or very lage chicken eggs... i said duck, based on size.. hubby said look at the other duck eggs in the bator.. i pulled one out and set it next he said "oh... maybe" lol... but they are very clean.. which makes me thing chicken... and now that i'm thinking of it, duck eggs feel different and these feel more like the chicken than the duck...

does someone want to spill the beans as to the species at least??? i wold not be disappointed to know the breed either.. i ssooo suck at waiting.. lol... but i will....

oohhh i need to know duck or chicken so i know hoe long they need to incubate... that's a good excuse.... yeah.... i'll go with that one...

That's a terrible excuse, you could always candle them on day 18, if they are 'full' then they are chickens, if they are almost 'full', then they are ducks....I'm not spilling ANYTHING!!
