Shoot - I have 7 out of 8 of the duck eggs that were sent to me from Florida are developing and 1 left of my surprise eggs. The A duck eggs are Pekin eggs and the B duck eggs are Magpie or MagpieXCayuga eggs and the C duck eggs were Cayuga. The trip must have been a little bumpy as they all develop here for me. I was worried when you posted that one egg was oozing without a crack - must have ruptured on the inside as all the eggs were only a couple days old when they were sent. Here are some of these eggs I hatched out on Thanksgiving:

QuailQT~~ You're pics are marked correctly. If you check out my page, you'll see representations of rosetta, dark tibetan, two different types of golden, and brown. I've got some chick pics of cinnamons and reds, I'll post those here. I need to get updated pics of those before I add them to my page

One way you can tell the difference between a rosetta tibetan and a dark tibetan is that the darks don't have those yellow-spikey feathers on them

BRB with the cinnamon and red pics. If you have browns, you would KNOW if you got a cinnamon! They are very red

Okay, first off is a pic of some rosetta and dark tibetan tuxedo chicks. The rosettas are easy to tell at this age, they are the 2 that have a more reddish tint.

Next up is a pic of 2 red and 2 cinnamon as youngsters. There are some chukar in there as well, hopefully you can tell them apart!

In this one, the red is in the front, and another in the very back. The cinnamons are kind of hidden, but one is right in front of the red in the back, and the other is behind the red in the front.

In this pic, again the reds are in the front and in the back. One of the cinnamons is standing in front of the red in the back. Cinnamons are marked just like browns, but their coloring is very red.

This pic has the 2 reds on the right, and the 2 cinnamons on the left.

This pic has the 2 reds in the center, one cinnamon under the light on the right, and the other is in the middle in the back.

And just because I'm bored, this is a pic of a dark tibetan

And this is a rosetta

There is also one called a golden range. I'm not sure how to tell the difference between that and a rosetta, they are very similar. I think my girl in the last pic is a golden range, rather than a regular rosetta, but I can't be sure.

WOO HOO!!!

My eggs made it today!!

I have NO idea what they are but the are big and beautiful and brown!! Really doesn't narrow it down much!!

Here are a picture of the 9 beautiful eggs (and the 2 dark ones are mine from my maran that I'm going to put in the incubator with these eggs!!

Any hint from anybody what they might be?!

Looking forward to putting this in the incubator!

those are tarantula eggs.....
big hairy spiders will hatch out of them... i think they're somehow related to the alpaca eggs being that they are hairy....
