Novice Question: Avian Flu

Can we still buy chicks from a reputable (previously used) online hatchery if Avian Flu is rampant? Our flock is happy and healthy, but the hens are getting a little older and aren't producing enough. We'd like to buy a few more chicks and possibly even a duck. Suggestions? Advice? Anything would be eggcelent

Welcome to BYC. As far as I know, there are no restrictions on buying chicks. Ideal Poultry in Texas, Cakle Hatchery in Missouri, McMurray Hatchery in Iowa, and Meyer in Ohio are some of the bigger hatcheries with online websites. You can probably call them for info.
