Now I am a little unsure - (Welsummer ?)

I thought that I purchased welsummer hens.
But after looking at all the photos on the standards...shes super colourful compared to the traditional hen.

any guesses?

How old is she? still looking like a pullet going by the relatively small and pale comb for her size but would need an age to be sure.

I don't think you have a welie there. If you do, you have a roo. Those black spots are what throw me off.

yeah, she is a pullet. about 5 months roughly.

yeah, the black was throwing me off too....if she isnt a welie what is she? :S

Your birds are MUCH redder than what I bought as Wellies. Here are pics of mine as chicks, and today as 12 WK Olds for comparison.
One of us may have gotten the wrong birds, cuz I sure don't think they are the same breed. But I actually don't know squat, first time chickener here.

My Welsummer pullet looks just like chickens in Gardendufus' pics, so I think it's safe to say that this is not a pure Welsummer hen. I think she's pretty, though. Does she lay the specked eggs?

The OP's hen is not a Welsummer. My Wellies look just like Gardendufus' wellies.
