Thank you Rodriguez I know you didn't mean any harm... And I wasn't offended or anything. I am just defending the original breeders of this particular dog because they are trying their hardest to breed to a standard which they list on their site the qualities they are perfecting this breed for and are very meticulous about it. They are very serious and careful in their breeding or they would not have patented and put a trademark on it to keep other less honest breeders from taking advantage of folks less educated on the breed(or mix per se). I don't think these folks are only out to make a buck, they just want to perfect a breed with certain qualities, which one important one is to make it as nonallergenic as possible.

I had a blonde Chi a Pom(CKC reg) once... Looked so much like a long coat Chihuahua that if the breeder was dishonest could have sold her to me as such and I wouldn't have known the difference... At the same time I had a AKC reg male long coat Chihuahua(sable colored) I bought from a pet shop for 450.00, folks used swear he was a Pom... This was in the late 80s around the time of all the puppy mill busts... So in reality he could have very well been a mix sold to the buyer as a purebred. Isn't that crazy?
