Now that they are laying how do I eat the eggs?

Pics
You can eat them straight up, fresh from the nest box (not raw, i mean cooked in some shape or form) or you can put them away (you can leave them out of the refrigerator for up to a month!). They do stay fresh if you put the in the fridge, but once you've left them there, you can't take them out without eating them...srry for the random facts...

I have never done anything to the eggs. Nothing is necessary. It might be a good idea to put a date on the eggs so you don't try boiling really fresh ones. Those are hard to peel. My aunt used to break all eggs, including the ones she got from the store, into a cup or other small container before adding them to whatever she was cooking. That way if there was anything about the egg she considered to be substandard she could dispose of it.
OK I am old but- we were taught to break an egg in a cup first so that if it was bad you did not ruin all the ingredients in your recipe. We learned this in Home Economics class in school. No they do not teach home economics in our school systems. Why learn to cook when there is a micro wave and carry out.
